I saw a plane today that had ice crystals. They dissipated and did not leave a trail.

This is a five-gallon bucket of chemsnow from three winters ago. I placed a Raspberry Pi computer on top which logged the temperature all day. The room was a comfortable 80°F. The chemsnow stayed 22°F the entire time, ten degrees colder than normal snow formed by water.
