Lab-grown meat is often framed as progress, but very few people are talking about who gets replaced when it scales. This isn’t a debate about tradition versus innovation. It’s about independence versus dependency.
When meat moves from farms into labs owned and controlled by corporations, farmers are pushed out and consumers are left with fewer real choices. Real meat comes from land, animals, and people who have been feeding communities for generations.
Lab-grown meat is patented, branded, and centralized from the start. Supporters say it will solve environmental and health problems, yet there’s no long-term human data, no generational testing, and no clear plan for what happens to farmers in the process.
Food freedom means having the ability to choose food from a farm—not being quietly shifted into a system where corporations decide what’s available.
So should RFK Jr. protect farmers if Bill Gates’ lab-grown meat scales, or is this simply the cost of “progress”?
