Mark 10:18 (KJV) — “And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.”NONE - For some strange reason, people think they are good. Scripture says otherwise. The Bible is plain: there is NONE good—except God.If you insist on calling yourself “good,” then let God be true and every man a liar. Here’s what that kind of “good” really looks like:A good liar: How many lies have you told—smoothly, confidently, even with a smile?A good thiefHow many hours have you stolen from your employer?How many things have you “borrowed” and never returned?How many items have you broken and never replaced?Good at making excuses.Excuses for not reading your Bible.Excuses for not witnessing.Excuses for not being faithful to the house of God.I could go on—but if this doesn’t expose how “good” you really are, then you’ve already swallowed the devil’s lie. There is no such thing as a good person—only guilty sinners in need of a good God and a saving Saviour.
