James 2:19 “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”TREMBLE: The devils believe—so the question is simple: How are you different when you say you believe? The devils know exactly who God is. They know Jesus died and rose again. They know He is coming back. They even know their future judgment.Matthew 8:29 “…Art thou come hither to torment us before the time?” The devils know Scripture—often better than the average Christian. Yet their belief does not save them, because knowledge is not faith. Devils are not all-powerful. They act only within limits God allows. They are not equal to God—they are subject to Him and are used as instruments of judgment, never outside His control.Man’s great problem is this: many believe the facts of God, but never believe unto transformation. They believe the history. They understand the biography. They know church language. Yet their lives are filled with lies, unchanged habits, and hidden sin.True belief changes a man. When you believe, you are transformed— “old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” When you only know facts about God, nothing changes. The old remains. Sin is excused. And self-deception feels like faith. But when a man truly believes, it cannot be hidden. Acts 4:13 (KJV) “…they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Real faith leaves evidence. Real belief produces boldness. And real Christians are recognized—not by what they say they know, but by Who they have been with.Knowing about God is not enough. Even devils do that.Believing God changes everything.
