As many of you know, in the last few weeks a multitude of AI-fake videos of me have appeared on the Internet. Many of them express  views that are not mine and often in slightly speeded-up fashion with different vocal intonations.We have had legal counsel investigating these manufactured false videos and requested the guilty parties to stop.All genuine VDH videos appear only either 1) on the Daily Signal as the "Victor Davis Hanson In his Own Words" show, four times a week with guest hosts Jack Fowler and Sami Winc, 2) in 5-8 minute daily videos from the same Daily Signal platform, or 3) behind a paywall on our website victorhanson.com under the Ultra Friday Podcast rubric.I have no idea why I was singled out, or why now—only that this strange epidemic of AI fakeries has had a profoundly negative effect on our genuine videos and have forced me to issue constant clarifications that the video in question is not me and does not represent my views.Again, I would ask the perpetrators to cease these distortions and theft of intellectual properties and desist from profiting from, and deliberately trying to confuse, our viewership and listeners.Most sincerely, Victor Davis Hansonhttps://x.com/vdhanson/status/2003176454541181188?s=12
