Hey flerfs, are you afraid of the dark? This is Grise fjord, known as Aujuittuq, in the Inuktitut language, means "The place that never thaws". It's located 1,160 km north of the Arctic Circle in our territory of Nunavut, in Canada. The Polar night, only possible due to the axial tilt and the rotation of the earth, begins in mid October and lasts until the end of February. And this natural phenomena has been recorded and witnessed by the Inuit population for over 10,000 years.
