Luke 2:11 (KJV)“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”SAVIOUR — A child was born, but He was far more than a baby.He was the Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.Without His birth, and without understanding why He was born, your understanding of His death will be hindered.He was born to die, that we might have salvation.You can know of His birth and still go to hell.You can know of His death and still go to hell.The devils also know that Jesus was born and that He died — yet that knowledge will never secure them a place in heaven.Salvation is not knowing that these events happened.Salvation is knowing why He was born and how He died — for YOU.Knowing the history of Jesus is not the same as knowing Him as your Saviour.Salvation is through the Saviour —not through your church,not through yourself,not through religious activity or works,but through His sacrificial death at Calvary.There is only ONE way to heaven — not two, not three.John 14:6 (KJV)“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
