Romans 5:15 “But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.”THE GRACE OF GOD Christmas exposes a great contrast. The world focuses on gifts under a tree, while God points us to His Gift on a tree—the Cross of Calvary. What man could never fix, God resolved through grace. Sin came by one man, Adam, bringing death. Salvation came by one Man, Jesus Christ, bringing life. The birth of Christ was not random or sentimental. He was born with a purpose. The cradle was always moving toward the Cross. The Child of Bethlehem became the Lamb of God, and the free gift of salvation was purchased with His blood. Santa, reindeer, and elves may entertain for a moment, but they cannot forgive sin, change a heart, or grant eternal life. Only Jesus Christ can do that. Grace is not earned, wrapped, or exchanged—it is given, freely and abundantly, through Christ alone. Do not let distractions dull the greatest truth ever announced:Jesus Christ was born, lived sinlessly, and died willingly so you could receive the gift of salvation. This Christmas, look past the decorations and fix your eyes on the Cross. The greatest gift was not placed under a tree—it was lifted upon one.
