For people that don’t understand why there is a lawsuit against the Secretary of State’s office in Oregon in regards to voter rolls. According to the federal law of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 the state is obligated to conduct a general voter registration list MAINTENANCE PROGRAM that makes a reasonable effort to REMOVE ineligible voters from the voter rolls.
