Luke 2:11 “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”
No one knows the exact day Jesus was born.
December is simply the time we’ve chosen to remember it. But the date isn’t the issue—the Saviour is. And nothing should keep us from honoring the moment God stepped into the world to redeem mankind.
Yes, the celebration has been polluted.
The world pushes Santa, fantasy, and a decorated tree to overshadow the true Christmas tree—the Cross of Calvary. That’s not an accident. The enemy will always try to bury Christ beneath distractions and lies.
But I refuse to let the traditions of men or the schemes of the devil silence the truth: Christ was born, Christ lived sinlessly, and Christ died for sinners. His birth mattered because His death and resurrection were coming.
So keep the good—anything that points your heart toward the Saviour—and throw out the rest.
Let your focus be on the Child who became the Lamb, the Saviour who became the Sacrifice, and the Lord who rose again.
This season, honor His birth, His life, and His redeeming work.
He is worthy.
