Every time I think America’s insanity has peaked, someone out there decides to crank it up another notch like it’s a competition. Now we’ve got a 19-year-old intentionally plowing into a line of cars at 70 mph in Las Vegas just to kill his pregnant girlfriend — and wiping out innocent people in the process.
Three adults dead. An unborn child dead. Families shattered because some punk decided life meant nothing.
And of course, the moment this hits the news, here come the excuses — “seizure,” “misunderstanding,” “tragic accident.” Yeah, spare me. When you’ve got a trail of prior run-ins with the law and then you launch your car like a missile into a crowd, that ain’t a medical episode — that’s evil dressed up in a seatbelt.
But here’s the sickest part:
We live in a time where criminals get sympathy, excuses, and GoFundMe pages, while the victims get a funeral. Society is bending over backward to “understand” people who have zero interest in being decent human beings. And then we wonder why the country feels like it’s circling the drain.
Maybe — just maybe — the problem isn’t guns, cars, laws, or whatever excuse the left trots out next.
Maybe the problem is we’ve raised a culture where accountability died long before any of these victims did.
This should be national outrage, front-page news, nonstop coverage. But it won’t be. Because it doesn’t fit anyone’s narrative. No political use. No votes to harvest. Just tragic, senseless destruction — so it’ll be memory-holed by next week.
Meanwhile, real families are burying loved ones right before Christmas.
This country better wake up.
We’re raising a generation that treats human life like a disposable item — and a justice system that keeps proving they can get away with it.
This didn’t have to happen. But it damn sure better not be forgotten.

You're exactly right Roger. The youth of today think they can do whatever they want with no accountability.
