Remember Avery Jackson, the 9-year-old “trans girl” featured on National Geographic? Avery was put on puberty blockers at a young age and is now 17, identifying as nonbinary and asexual. This is a direct consequence of blocking normal puberty.Avery has said transitioning “ruined” his life he’s sterile, sexually undeveloped, and never had a normal childhood.This is why children cannot consent to blockers or transition. The physical, cognitive, and emotional impacts aren’t reversible, despite what activists or certain clinicians claim.Yet the UK is now moving forward with a clinical trial putting 220 children as young as 11 on these drugs, even though several countries have already restricted them. Dr. Hilary Cass said a trial is happening simply because some families and clinicians “believe” in the benefits. Ideology and profit are being allowed to outweigh evidence of harm.
