“Rejecting God… Yet Embracing the Devil” (John 3:19, KJV)
John 3:19 “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.”
Most people will stiff-arm God without hesitation.
They’ll reject His Word, His conviction, His authority, and His offer of mercy. But they’ll cling to the devil’s darkness with both hands — because the devil never demands repentance, never calls men to holiness, and never exposes sin. He simply feeds the flesh and blinds the heart.
And that’s why Christ said men love darkness. Not because darkness is better — but because it leaves their sinful life untouched.
But hear this truth clearly: Rejecting God does not free you — It enslaves you.
Rejecting Christ does not make you strong — It hands your soul over to the destroyer.
Jesus came as Light — not to condemn, but to save (John 3:17).
He shines into the heart to reveal what needs to be forgiven, changed, and cleansed. But the devil offers the opposite: a darkness that hides sin… until it destroys you.
Every person makes a choice:
Reject the Light — or reject the darkness.
Follow Christ — or follow the deceiver.
Walk in truth — or live in a lie.
There is no middle ground.
John 8:12 “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
