I’ve made this point a dozen times: those boats cost more than most fishermen in Venezuela will make in a lifetime. These vessels start around $300,000 and go up from there. Just three high-power engines alone run well over $100,000 straight out of the box.There is no way these are ordinary fishing boats. The legacy media and Democrats are either stupid or intentionally ignoring the obvious — I think it’s both.Meanwhile, the reality is that drug-smuggling operations are killing Americans. We lose over 100,000 people a year to fentanyl overdoses. Back in 2016, the number was around 56,000. In a single year, we now lose twice as many Americans to overdoses as we lost U.S. soldiers over 15 years in Vietnam.I have no issue with a firm, America-First approach to confronting narco-trafficking organizations. These groups are acting as narco-terrorists, and their actions are directly contributing to massive loss of American lives.
