A coronal mass ejection (CME) was observed on 01 Dec associated with an X1.9 at 01/0249 UTC from Region 4299. Although most of the ejecta was east of the Sun/Earth line, a glancing blow is likely. There is some uncertainty with the timing of the event, so a G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm watch has been issued for 03-04 Dec (UTC day).
