JOHN 14:3 (KJV) “And if I go and p r e p a r e a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
Preparation has always been the mark of God’s work.
When Jesus came the first time, He came in humility — born as a child, walking among men, serving the broken, healing the sick, preaching truth, and offering Himself as the Messiah.
But He was rejected.
And in His rejection, He went to the cross and died as the Saviour, purchasing salvation with His own blood.
But the Jesus who was despised and crucified is not the Jesus who is returning.
His second coming will not be in weakness, but in absolute authority. Not in humility, but in glory.
Not as the Suffering Servant, but as “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” (Revelation 19:16)
He is preparing a place for His people right now — a real place, a promised place, a place where the redeemed will be with Him forever.
And He said, without hesitation or uncertainty: “I will come again.”
THE QUESTION IS NOT WHETHER HE IS COMING — BUT WHETHER YOU ARE PREPARED.
Preparation is p e r s o n a l. No one can 'do it’ for you.
Your church can’t prepare you.
Your family can’t prepare you.
Your good intentions can’t prepare you.
Only Christ can save — but you must respond to Him.
If you neglect Him…
If you reject His offer…
If you delay until it’s too late… Then you will have no one to blame but yourself.
He has already died for you.
He has already risen for you.
He has already promised to return for you.
But He will not drag the unwilling into Heaven.
YOUR PREPARATION IS SIMPLE:
Trust the finished work of Christ.
And live with your eyes fixed on the One who promised: “Where I am, there ye may be also.”
He’s coming — and He’s coming soon.
Make sure you’re ready.
