Paul said it best:Ephesians 1:18 “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened…”The Word opens your eyes. It lets you see God’s calling, God’s riches, and God’s inheritance. Without the Word, you’re stumbling in the dark. With it, you see clearly what God intended for the redeemed.THE WORD ALSO WARNS THE LOST — AND IT DOESN’T PULL PUNCHESThe Bible doesn’t sugar-coat the fate of those who reject Christ. The same Sword that comforts the saved slices through the illusions of the lost:Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, and UNBELIEVING… shall have their part in the lake which burneth with FIRE…”God’s Word shows exactly what awaits the unbelieving — not to scare them into panic, but to wake them before it’s too late. The Sword cuts because eternity is real.FINAL WORDLet Scripture do its work.Let it cut away what needs to die.Let it open your eyes to what God has prepared.And if you’re lost — let it warn you before that final blade falls.
