THERE IS NO "KENNEDY CURSE"
Every year around the Kennedy assassination anniversary (Nov. 22), the American media attempts to preserve the "Camelot" image of America's "royal family." One way this is done is to keep up sympathy for the famous family by pushing the myth of the so-called "Kennedy Curse." That is, you're supposed to feel sorry the Kennedy family and love and idolize them because of the many tragedies that have befallen them over the past several decades, and they have had a good share of them . . .
In addition to President John F. Kennedy being assassinated in 1963, his brother Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1968, and his oldest brother Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. died in an exploding aircraft in 1944. Then his sister Kathleen "Kick" Kennedy died in a plane crash in 1948, his son Patrick B. Kennedy died as an infant in 1963, his nephew David A. Kennedy died of a drug overdose in 1984, a skiing accident claimed the life of his nephew Michael LeMoyne Kennedy in 1997, and JFK's own son John F. Kennedy, Jr. died in a 1999 plane crash. Kara Kennedy, JFK's niece, died while working out in 2011, and Mary Richardson Kennedy, wife of Robert Kennedy, Jr., died from a supposed suicide in 2012. In 2019, Robert F. Kennedy's granddaughter, Saoirse Kennedy Hill, died of a drug overdose at the Kennedy compound in Massachusetts. The latest recorded tragic deaths are those of Maeve Kennedy McKean and her son Gideon. Both died on a canoe trip in the Chesapeake Bay in 2020.
Those are just the Kennedy deaths. Then come the other bazaar incidents, such as Mary Jo Kopechne drowning in Ted Kennedy's car in 1969, Rosemary Kennedy's strange lobotomy in 1941 at the requirement of her father Joseph Kennedy, Ted Kennedy's plane crash in 1964, Pam Kelley's paralyzing accident in Joseph Kennedy's Jeep in 1973, and, of course, the much publicized sexual assault charge and accusations against William Kennedy Smith in 1991. We could continue, but you get the point: the Kennedys have had their share of drama.
But it's not a "Kennedy curse," as many would have us believe. No, the Kennedy problem is all wrapped up in a simple little truth found in Proverbs 13:15: "Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard." The Kennedy family feels "cursed" because THEY LOVE SIN and refuse to repent! It's no more complicated than that. By the divine law of God Almighty, these people must reap what they sow. Upon experiencing one of their tragedies, one of the Kennedys supposedly said, "Somebody up there doesn't like us." No, Somebody up there HATES SIN and has commanded you to REPENT. The Kennedys have no special place on God's radar; they suffer from the curse of sin like all other unrepentant sinners. They're special only in their own degenerate minds.
When you destroy a young woman's life with an unnecessary lobotomy, there's a price to pay. When a U.S. President is known for continual adultery and promiscuity, even in the White House, there's a price to pay. When his wife "gets even" by whoring around with multiple movie stars, there's a price to pay. When his immoral brothers sleep with his wife, and one of them is responsible for the drowning death of a twenty-nine year-old young woman, there's a price to pay. When you refuse to repent of any of this, but trust some pagan priest to keep you in good standing with God, THERE'S A PRICE TO PAY! God is not mocked! You don't live like hell and then rubber stamp the name of Jesus Christ on your godless life and get away with it. THE WAY OF TRANSGRESSORS IS HARD, and the so-called "Kennedy Curse" is living proof of it.
Psalm 49:20 says it all: "Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish." So the "Kennedy Curse" will continue, because the only thing that Kennedys learn from history is that they can't seem to shake "the curse." Meanwhile, they'll pay any price necessary in order to hang on to their power, profits and pleasures . . . while bellyaching about "the Kennedy Curse." The only curse they have is the curse of SIN (Prov. 3:33), and they can repent at any time just like anyone else.
