My mom was an immigrant and proud naturalized U.S. Citizen. My family is choked full of proud immigrants. But I think any rational person would agree that there are people that absolutely do not belong here. Those with criminal pasts or from countries with religious ideologies totally incompatible with the Constitution should never be allowed to enter and stay here. I've met some of the really bad ones and I'm sure most of you have as well. But the great people I've met in my lifetime that immigrated here are also the life blood of our country. Let's make sure we recognize the need to vet immigrants for our security and future.
