The Department of Education Gets A Failing GradeThe Department of Education was started during Jimmy Carter’s administration, and the expensive bureaucracy that was created has proved to be a monumental flop. Back then the US was near the top in the western world in terms of education. Now it’s near the bottom. The DOE is staffed mostly by Democrats. Most of the teachers in unions are Democrats. They teach DEI more than the ’three Rs’ and would rather talk about gender than geography.It’s no wonder young people want socialism—they’ve been trained to want it. They’ve been trained to pursue ’social justice,’ not logic and reason. Laziness is rewarded while excellence is ridiculed. Too many students are trained to be Antifa thugs, not patriots. Few understand American history because it’s not being taught. Instead, they’re taught to think that America is ‘bad.’It’s long past time to jettison the failed, progressive Department of Education.— The GrrrTeam
