DISAGREEING WITH YOUR PASTORI've never said much about this, but I probably should. Many believers order and study our materials and then find themselves disagreeing with their pastors over various issues. When this happens, please don't pick a fight with your preacher! There are a few common sense steps to follow, and none of them involve fighting anyone:1) Pray. Any preacher can be wrong, Pray for Holy Spirit guidance.2) Be careful about giving your pastor literature and links. The best way to disagree with your pastor is in person with grace and reason. Do not tell your pastor to read this or to watch that without first establishing a good testimony of being reasonable and graceful. Merely handing him a tract or booklet to read can be intimidating and insulting.3) Know the subject well. No piece of literature and no YouTube video can replace the value of your own knowledge of the subject at hand. Learn it well, learn all the scripture that it involves, and be able to discuss it with ease, without showing frustration and an angry spirit.4) Don't turn others against the pastor. Most disagreements can be continuing disagreements without any major action needed. If this is not the case and you honestly cannot remain under the pastor's leadership, then quietly leave. Do NOT attempt to turn others against the preacher.
