2 Timothy 1:13 “Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.”
SOUND WORDS — Who has your ear?
Every voice you follow shapes you.
People may influence you, but the most dangerous voice you’ll ever listen to is your own—because your heart will scheme, excuse, twist, and rewrite truth to protect your sin.
When you keep listening to your own thoughts above God’s Word, you start believing you’re wiser than the Lord Himself.
And if you insist on that path, God will let you reap the fruit of self-deception. He will not force you to follow truth if you are determined to follow lies.
But you don’t have to keep writing disaster into your own story.
You can drop the pen—lay down your self-written excuses, opinions, and justifications—and submit to the Scriptures penned by the very breath of God.
God will not erase your past, but He will redirect your future.
If you will hold fast to His “sound words,” He will lead you into a chapter worth finishing well.
Stand firm. Think biblically. Hold fast. Let God lead the rest.
