Dems are now running an ad advising military personnel that it is their duty to refuse orders that they deem to be unlawful.I consider that ad to be despicable. Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona is a retired Navy captain and pilot. (He's also a retired NASA astronaut.) I expect that the other politicians in the ad were selected because they are veterans, too, but I'm not going to look them up.While it is certainly true that military personnel shouldn't obey an unlawful order, failure to obey that order comes at the risk of great peril if they are wrong.For these scumbag politicians to entice military personnel to risk court martial and prison, and to also destroy their careers, and all of that for what is merely a current Dem “talking point,” is outrageous. Dems are treating military personnel like useful tools--or, more accurately, useful idiots.I don't remember any of these politicians, much less the Democrat party as a whole, speaking out against Obama when he authorized the drone attack that targeted an actual US citizen heavily involved with Al Qaeda--or did I miss that? Did I miss the Jihadi's trial? (BTW, I was totally onboard with that decision.) To drone cartel personnel bringing boatloads of death to the US suits me to a "T."When/if service members start getting sent to Leavenworth in a conga line because they took the advice of these sleazy, opportunistic Dems, will these disgusting politicians be reaching into their own pockets and sending the prisoners' families monthly support payments while they are sitting in a cell?I'm not holding my breath for Dems to launch a competitor to Tunnels to Towers for the men and women who take their advice.
