After sleeping on this… I have some additional thoughts.First and foremost, this is just another option for people to have affordable mortgages. You don’t have to get it. If you rent today, you understand how expensive it is compared to a mortgage. It’s another pathway to homeownership, which is good.If interest rates get lower, which I hope they will, it won’t matter much. But if it goes higher, the interest will be astronomical and yes, debt slaves. But everyone has a choice.To make housing more affordable again, we should do two things…1. Deport the nearly 50 million illegal aliens and those who overstayed their visas’s. They are taking up space. Our space. They are causing the housing shortage. Trump has just scratched the surface. Hopefully more deportations occur. 2. Probably the most important…. STOP ALLOWING BLACKROCK to purchase homes and entire communities!It’s good Trump is providing options, but one has to consider why we have to have these options in the first place.
