25 years ago today, the Expedition 1 crew arrived at the International Space Station — and it’s been continuously inhabited ever since. For a quarter century, the ISS has served as a home in orbit for astronauts from around the world and a unique platform for science, discovery, and commercial innovation.The ISS has also helped transform the U.S. launch industry.
