Ken Blackwell 🚨 BREAKING: The Department of Justice (DOJ) under the Trump administration is deploying election monitors to polling places in both New Jersey and California on November 4. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon confirms that these monitors will be in place in the following jurisdictions: • Passaic County, New Jersey • Kern, Riverside, Fresno, Orange and Los Angeles Counties, California GOOD. No “shenanigans” can be tolerated—period. We all know this: our elections must be free, fair, and transparent if we’re going to trust the results. It’s not enough to hope everything went right. We must ensure it went right. As Dhillon said: “The Department of Justice will do everything necessary to protect the votes of eligible American citizens, ensuring our elections are safe and secure.” And: “Transparent election processes and election monitoring are critical tools for safeguarding our elections and ensuring public trust in the integrity of our elections.” These monitors aren’t about partisan advantage. They’re about the public trust. You cannot have legitimate outcomes if significant portions of the electorate believe the process was rigged or broken. In these particular counties we’re seeing heightened stakes—New Jersey’s gubernatorial race and California’s high-stakes redistricting ballot initiative are drawing national attention. The request came from GOP parties in both states, citing concerns around how ballots are handled, how voter rolls are maintained, and whether drop-boxes/mail-in ballots are processed with sufficient oversight. So yes, this is a welcome move. To all eligible voters: turn out. Be heard. But also watch. Bring your ID, check for proper procedures, report anything odd. Because when we care enough to exercise our franchise, we also must care enough to protect its integrity. NO CHEATING.
