The difference between Trump's remodel and Truman's is that 47's isn't being done with taxpayer money. Prove me wrong !The Social Media Delinquent ·Might I Opine:Before Democrats lose their collective minds over President Trump doing a little remodeling and adding a ballroom onto the White House at no cost to the US taxpayers, let’s not forget that the White House as seen today is not the original White House. More than 90% of it is the result of a remodel that president Truman did after World War II. The interior was 100% gutted with a basement and sub basement added along with expanding other levels. Compare the light demolition work in the first photo that President Trump is having done to the complete gutting of the interior space of the White House with all of the heavy equipment inside during Trumans remodel. What President Trump is doing is only unprecedented in the fact that we’re not having to pay for it. It would only make sense for the president to have a ballroom to be able to hold those huge balls.
