The Furtherance Of The Gospel Philippians 1:12-14 -- “But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel; So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places; And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.”The Apostle Paul faced many things in his ministry. The Bible tells us of these things in 2 Corinthians 11:23-33. Why do we, as Christians, think that when bad things or difficult circumstances happen to us that nothing good can come from it? Paul reminds us that the things that happened unto him, God used to further the Gospel being preached unto others. Opportunities to tell the story of Jesus Christ can come in many ways. Perhaps you are facing some hard and difficult challenges in your life. Never forget that God may very well use it all as an opportunity to further spread the Gospel through your own testimony. Be willing, be ready, and submit yourself to whatever opportunity God may offer you.
