“God Is N o t Finished W i t h Israel”I. IntroductionReformed (Replacement) Theology f a l s e l y teaches that the Church has replaced Israel and that God’s covenants with Israel are nullified. This doctrine d e n i e s the integrity of God’s promises and the immutability of His covenants.Scripture c l e a r l y states that God’s covenant with Israel is everlasting, and His dealings with the Church are distinct, not replacements.II. Old Testament P r o o f s That God’s Covenant With Israel Is Everlasting 1. The Abrahamic Covenant — Everlasting and UnconditionalGenesis 12:2–3 – “And I will make of thee a great nation... and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”Genesis 13:14–17 – God gives Abraham’s descendants the land forever.Genesis 17:7–8 – “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee... for an everlasting covenant.”This covenant depends on God’s faithfulness, not Israel’s performance.2. The Davidic Covenant — A Perpetual Throne 2 Samuel 7:12–16 – God promises David a house, a kingdom, and a throne forever. Psalm 89:3–4, 34–36 – “My covenant will I not break... his seed shall endure forever.”Messiah’s reign is the literal fulfillment — Christ will rule on David’s throne from Jerusalem.3. The Land (Palestinian) Covenant — A Future Restoration Deuteronomy 30:1–6 – God promises to gather Israel from all nations and restore them to their land. Amos 9:14–15 – “I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up.” Ezekiel 37:21–28 – The two sticks become one nation again under one Shepherd — a prophecy yet to be completed.4. The New Covenant — Given to Israel First Jeremiah 31:31–37 – “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah…”God declares Israel’s continuing existence as sure as the sun, moon, and stars.
