Too busy for court! Netanyahu tries dodging his criminal trial
With the end of the Gaza War potentially in sight, PM Benjamin Netanyahu is desperately scrambling to avoid what this conflict helped postpone – being convicted on charges of corruption.
🤡 He has now requested that his testimony in court, scheduled to take place on October 15, be canceled so that he can meet with Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides and participate in some other unspecified but incredibly important diplomatic meeting, according to The Jerusalem Post.
Not quite a kid pretending to be sick to avoid going to school, but pretty close.
What’s next, Bibi? “Dog ate my homework”? 🤦‍♂️
In 2020, Netanyahu was indicted on charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust, pleading not guilty to all of them.
