They Never Learn: Chicagoland Sanctuary Politicians Continue to Sabotage the Rule of Law September 18, 2025 Given out-of-control crime and illegal immigration, a reasonable person could expect that places like the Chicago area plagued by these problems would jump at the chance when offered federal law enforcement assistance to clean up the mess. Unfortunately, reason, logic, and respect for the rule of law seem to have no place in so-called sanctuary jurisdictions.
