Pressing Through To JesusMark 5:27-29“When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.”For 12 long years this woman has some kind of disease of the blood. She has suffered many things at the hands of physicians and spent all that she had. She heard about Jesus and knew if she could just touch His clothes she would be healed. Her faith was great and she pressed through, touched His clothes, and was immediately healed. Her faith is an example to us all. Her effort motivates us to press on ourselves. She was physically weak but she believed. Obstacles were in her way, but she kept pressing through the crowd until she reached her destination. When He identified who had touched Him, Jesus said to her, “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”- (Mark 5:34) Anytime our faith touches Jesus great things happen.Perhaps this day finds you in need.
