Coming To JesusJohn 6:37“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”How often I have come to Jesus since the day that I asked Him to save me and was born again. It is a promise that the moment a person, by faith, comes unto Jesus Christ, repenting of their sin and calling upon His name, they are saved; He will not cast them out. But I believe the promise stands that the Christian can keep coming to Him for whatever our needs may be.Hebrews 11:6 - “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”What a great promise it is to know that He is a rewarder to those who come to Him and diligently seek Him! And since the Christian life is a life in which we walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), may God help us every day to diligently seek Him. I have come to the conclusion that there is very little in my life in which I can do, without the aid of God’s help and blessing. Oh, how I need God! And how thankful I am for the promise that each time I come to Him, He will in no wise turn me away!
