FRUIT INSPECTORS?
In Matthew 7:15-23, Jesus preached on the importance of not believing everything that false prophets say, but taking a look at their fruit in order to know for certain if they're of God. In verse twenty, he sums it all up by saying, "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."
Of course, the scriptures speak of our need to bear fruit in many other places as well. John the Baptist preached it in Matthew 3, Paul listed nine different kinds of spiritual fruit in Galatians 5, and Jesus said in the parable of the sower (Mat. 13) that "good ground" believers will bear fruit "some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty." In John 15, he spoke of fruit, more fruit, and much fruit.
Yet, if you really believe any of this, you are labeled a "fruit inspector" by whiney Pharisees who are terrified at the idea of having THEIR fruit inspected. Imagine that.
He said we are to KNOW these people BY THEIR FRUITS. How is that possible without doing some fruit inspection? How can we obey our Lord's words in Matthew 7:20 without doing some fruit inspection, and why would the brethren even care, unless they're scared to have THEIR fruit inspected?
We aren't talking about silly things like what kind of clothes a preacher wears or whether or not he has a Christmas tree. Jesus said that MANY will perish by following these people (Mat. 7:22-23). Precious souls are a stake! A man who tells you that you're saved when you're really lost is a false prophet, and his evil deeds need to be exposed. That's the very reason that Matthew 7:15-23 is in your Bible. Ignore it at your own peril.
I try to refrain from going after people personally by name, and less than 2% of our publications even deal with the issue, but their hellish empty-believe practices are damning souls to hell, and I will NOT be silenced.
