Go And Preach Mark 16:15“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”Today is Sunday, the Lord’s Day, the day we who are Christians go to church and worship God. We will pray, and sing, and hear a lesson taught in Sunday School. We will sing and pray some more, give our tithes and offerings, and we will hear a sermon preached. We will participate in these things but come Monday how well will we do in fulfilling the commission Jesus gave to us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel?The routine of most Christians is go to church each Sunday. We go through the order of service, then go home and wait till next Sunday. For some there is a mid-week prayer and Bible study service. Somewhere in my Christian journey I read or heard a preacher say, “Our church should not be judged on its sitting capacity but its sending capacity.” Can you think of a better story to tell someone this week than the Gospel story that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners? May we all be challenged this week to go to at least one person and let them know “that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures”.(1 Corinthians 15:3, 4)
