When George Floyd died, cities burned.
Across America, riots raged.
More than two billion dollars in damages.
Dozens of lives lost.
Hundreds of police officers injured.
Entire neighborhoods reduced to ashes.
That was the response: anger, chaos, destruction.
Now look at what happened when Charlie Kirk was assassinated.
Yesterday in Arizona, State Farm Stadium was packed to the brim.
The crowd was so massive that overflow arenas had to be opened, and still people spilled outside.
By the end of the day, nearly a hundred thousand Americans had gathered — a sea of families, young people, church groups, and citizens who traveled from across the country just to be part of it.
No cities burned.
No stores were looted.
No officers were attacked.
Instead, there were prayers.
Hymns.
Testimonies of faith.
Men and women gathered not to tear the country down, but to lift one another up.
Millions of dollars were raised, not for chaos, but to support Charlie’s widow and two young children.
This is the difference.
Two tragedies, two responses.
One side chose destruction.
The other chose Jesus.
One side lashed out in vengeance.
The other gathered in prayer.
Charlie Kirk’s life and death have become a line in the sand.
He believed in the power of truth spoken boldly.
He believed in young Americans and in the destiny of our nation.
And even in death, he has rallied more people in prayer, unity, and conviction than most leaders ever see in their lifetime.
Charlie’s lovely widow forgave the killer of her husband.
We are not the same.
And thank God we are not the same. 🙏🏾
