Originally from Chicago, Christine Anne Olender had lived in New York City for several years. She worked as assistant general manager for Windows on The World, a fine restaurant at the very top of the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Christine was a very hard working, friendly, and accomplished manager. She loved New York City and spending time with friends when she wasn’t at work. On September 11th 2001, Christine called 911 four times hoping to get herself, the restaurant staff, and patrons to safety. They were all lost when the North Tower fell.
