God KnowsHebrews 4:13“Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”A Bible truth about God is the truth that God is omniscient or God is all knowing. We should find this a very sobering truth about God. The truth that He knows everything there is to know about me can be both convicting and comforting. It is a convicting truth when one relates it with his or her sin. The obvious is you and I cannot fool God or get something by Him. But God’s omniscience is comforting. As when someone falsely accuses or misunderstands you. It is comforting because you can rest your faith in the truth that God knows the truth about you. As a preacher, I find the truth of God’s omniscience both comforting and helpful because I know that He is able to take God’s Word from the message I give and apply it to the heart of the person who needs it. It is an absolute truth that God is all-knowing.What do you find convicting or comforting about this truth?
