Ephesians 2:9 (KJV) Not of works, lest any man should BOAST.BOAST: God will n o t allow you to have a part in your salvation, why? If you could work your way into heaven then you could boast about what you did to get there. God wouldn’t receive the glory !WORKMANSHIP: Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus UNTO good works, which God hath before ordained that we SHOULD walk in them.What happens at salvation? You become ‘h i s’ workmanship. You are ‘c r e a t e d in’ Christ Jesus at salvation. You can’t create! Now, read that again! You can’t c r e a t e! Only God possesses the p o w e r of creation. If you believe you can c r e a t e salvation then you believe salvation is evolutionary. God does not allow for any f o r m s of evolution in his creation of the world or at salvation. The KJV Bible is explicit that you can NOT ‘c r e a t e’ eternal life since it’s the Spirit which is the One who g i v e s life. Eternal Life can O N L Y come from the w o r k of Jesus at Calvary, who bore your sin, then after faith in the work of Christ, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit Now, after you are saved, through faith, then you are created in Christ Jesus UNTO good works. N E V E R get the cart before the horse. Works come A F T E R your salvation and never before. Works are part of your w a l k with God (After salvation) but never part of your f a i t h to get you to God. If your works could e q u a l salvation then God’s work wasn’t sufficient or efficient. That means His blood could not be offered as the atonement since your works are needed. That means even though Jesus was the sinless Lamb Of God, that his sacrifice wasn’t acceptable since God needs you as much as he needs his only begotten Son. You are saved by Grace t h r o u g h Faith, not saved by grace through the laws of Good works.Religion has a d a p t e d the t r a d i t i o n s of men over the words of God which produces modern day Pharisees.
