From 2022 to July 2025, more than 250 thousand cases of desertion were opened:— 200 thousand for unauthorized abandonment of unit (UAU),— 50 thousand for desertion. - But this is just the tip of the iceberg. MP Anna Skorokhod claims that the actual number of "escaped" is already approaching 400 thousand.❗️Experts also admit: official statistics are underestimated by at least half.
