We should always have peace in mind when we are dealing with people. No matter how intense a situation may become, we should give in to our anger or our hurt. If we do, we will only end up hurting other people and this will make the situation far worse. We should always desire that as brothers and sisters in Christ, we grow together, leaving no one behind. Following our emotions and acting on negativity will always result in division and this is never of God.
