If we really want to get a handle on crime , there has to be serious consequences for liberal prosecutors and judges.. There are laws on the books that say if you commit a certain crime that you will serve X amount of time in prison , but a liberal judge claims " judicial discretion " and sets you free or reduces the sentence drastically.. If a prosecutor refuses to prosecute a criminal or a judge refuses to follow the law in sentencing , they should be removed from their jobs..
