The Witness Of The Holy Spirit - Do You Have It?Romans 8:16“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.”1 John 4:13-14“Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.”Here in these texts the Bible gives a way that one can know that they are born again (saved). We can know because we have been given within the witness of the Holy Spirit.1 Corinthians 3:16“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”How do you know you are saved? By the witness of the Holy Spirit, is an answer to that question. It is the privileged work of the Holy Spirit to bear witness to the spirit within the believer that he or she is born again.Do you have that witness?The witness of the Holy Spirit is within us not only to give us assurance, but also so we will “testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world”.Is your life testifying that the Father sent His Son Jesus Christ to be the Saviour of the world? These are just some of the works of the Holy Spirit within the heart of the believer.
