1 John 3:5 (KJV) And ye know that he was manifested to TAKE AWAY our sins; and in him is no sin.TAKE AWAY: Jesus came to this earth with p u r p o s e: To take away our sin. This was 'his' task and n o t yours. You cannot take away your sins or help in taking away your sin.You might t h i n k you are an ‘Angel’ but that didn’t help or prevent Lucifer from being an outcast. He t h o u g h t he could rise above the throne of God, but his thinking got him kicked out of heaven.You might t h i n k you are good, but you will n e v e r be good enough to take away sin since that is reserved for the Lord Jesus Christ.Never make the m i s t a k e in t h i n k i n g that you are righteous enough to equate your life with the life of Jesus.If you do, you will miss heaven by that very thought that assumes you could enter heaven through self-righteousness instead of through the Lord Jesus Christ - The Saviour.
