THE RESTLESS RAVENS
"And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth. Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground; But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark." (Gen. 8:7-9)
Beware of people who are always "on the go." The exceptions are those who have distinct callings that require them to travel. Most of the rest are just fugitives and vagabonds who stay on the move, because they are restless, hungry ravens who have never learned to personally feed on God's word and grow. Being rooted and planted believers who bear fruit gracefully through the years is a foreign concept and often even "boring" to such people. They always feel the need run here and there and "be a part" of every "exciting" thing that happens because they have quenched the Spirit of God in their own personal lives and they are spiritually starving. They have to GO "where God is working" or where they can "get refreshed," because they have quenched his working and refreshing in their own lives. So, like hungry ravens, they fly to and fro looking for food while God's spirit-filled doves have enough sense to return to the ark.
Running to and fro (whether literally or figuratively) doesn't mean that you are spiritual. In fact, it might mean that you're kin to the devil (Job. 1:7).

I am happy being at home. Was wondering if I am missing something not running here and there like a few of my friends and neighbors. I just asked my husband if we will be sad for having not gone anywhere when we are older. I don’t think so. I do not need a lot of stimulation and worldly things.
