Empaths have a healing aura, and with that also comes a lot of compassion for others, even for the ones that will continuously manipulate them without giving it a second thought. That’s why empaths tend to become drained rather quickly... Not only are they sensitive to the energy around them to begin with, but their empathetic way of being drives them to keep giving people chances that aren’t truly deserved... The drive to help others or be there for another causes them to put themselves last, gradually losing their sense of self as they continuously ask how it even got to that point... What went wrong? So empaths out there, please have respect for yourselves and let that be first, before EVERYTHING... You can have compassion for another, but don’t let them take advantage of you... You can want to help someone, but you don’t have to let them walk all over you. Protect yourself as much as you can, especially your energy...
