Anton Torello was the bass teacher of Warren Benfield, who was my bass teacher. Torello had a beautiful photograph taken of him standing on the train tracks and blithely playing his bass in front of a stationary train that in the picture looked just as if it were just about to run him over, proving that people had a sense of humor over a hundred years ago
