Montgomery County officials are expressing concern that President Trump’s crime and homelessness crackdown in Washington, D.C., could push more homeless individuals into Maryland shelters. County Executive Marc Elrich warned, “It’s not a question of if more homeless people will show up in Maryland shelters, but when.”Montgomery County is one of the most heavily Democratic in the nation.
