‼️Another blow to the cartel network and the trafficking infrastructure they support.Mexico has just extradited 26 high-ranking cartel figures to the United States under an agreement with the Trump administration — including Abigael “El Cuini” González Valencia, the key financial boss behind the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), and close associate of its leader El Mencho .Among the other extradited names are: • Roberto Salazar, wanted in the 2008 killing of a Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy . • Servando “La Tuta” Gómez, former head of the Knights Templar cartel . • Kevin “El 200” Gil Acosta and Martín Zazueta Pérez, who ran security for the Chapitos faction of Sinaloa, guarding fentanyl labs and supply routes with military-grade weapons . • Juan Carlos Félix Gastélum, known as “El Chavo Félix,” a key operator of Sinaloa’s meth labs and son-in-law of cartel patriarch “El Mayo” Zambada . • Abdul Karim Conteh, a Sierra Leonean national accused of running a migrant-smuggling network moving people from the Middle East and Africa toward the U.S. .This is a follow-up to February’s extradition of 29 cartel figures — including notorious drug lord Rafael Caro Quintero — marking an escalation in cross-border cartel accountability. This operation deals a direct blow to the financial and logistical core of cartels — not just their street enforcers, but the money, shipping, and migrant networks that power both drug and child trafficking. Catching the money men is crucial, because without funding, the trafficking machine begins to collapse.
