Whenever you hear someone spout off about “fighting fire with fire” or “an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth” you automatically know that they are a naïve, gullible fool! Logic dictates that trying to fighting fire with more fire just make the fire larger! And taking an eye for an eye or a tooth for a tooth does not settle anything, it just renders both sides blind and toothless!
